The Book I most often recommend

Do you ever catch yourself comparing your current situation to an unrealistic ideal of perfection? That nagging feeling that you are not measuring up? That you are not doing enough, or being enough, or having enough? If so, welcome to the club. We are in the GAP.

I definitely recommend reading this book, but here are some of my take-aways…

I can’t compete against somebody else for my own goals.

Who you are in life is what you can do successfully without thinking about it (habits)

End with recapping what we did - you can be so proud of what we did today

The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in war.

We get to choose how we perceive and frame our past. The past is not the facts the past is how we talk about how the story that we tell ourselves about those experiences and those are not factual.

The future is unpredictable, but what is predictable is how you are going to react to the situations that arise.
